I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues, mood disorders, daily life stressors, self-esteem, identity development and self-concept issues. Additionally, enjoy working with at-risk youth and children and adolescents in foster care. I am beginning training to become a Registered Play Therapist and I incorporate those techniques in my current practice. I utilize a Cognitive-Behavioral approach with a client-centered focus to embrace the therapeutic relationship with clients. I have a big fluffy dog named Maslow, he has a Therapy Dog title through AKC. Please let me know if you are interested in have him as part of your treatment. I strive to foster a sense of safety and genuineness within the counseling relationship and the space. I believe in a strong mind-body connection within the individual and work with kiddos and families to find healing through a holistic lens.
